How to Be Healthier : 5 Steps every day, Keep the doctor away!

Drinking at least 5 glasses of water helps you to be healthier and live longer.

1- Drinking enough water and a good diet.

60% of our body is water, which some of that will excrete through sweating, urinating, and exhaling. Although drinking 8 glasses of water is advised by most specialists, needed water for each person depends on various factors like gender, age, physical activity, weather, disease, and so forth. A healthy and active person can absorb enough water by a healthy diet. Having enough amount of fruit and vegetables will help your body to absorb enough water and nutrition. Don’t remove fat from your daily meals. having some fat will help your body functions much better. 2- Body Activity

Regular body activities keep your body strong and improve your health. Sports make you live longer comparing to people who don’t do sports and daily practice. 3 to 5 times in a week, each time 10 minutes of walking will make a significant change in long term. better you practice regularly than heavy and inconstant. It’s advised to practice at least 150 minutes every week.

At least 10 minutes of daily exercise helps your body stay strong and healthy.

3- Set yourself a challenge

If you run 15 minutes everyday, try to reach 20 minutes. If you eat 14 meals of fast foods every week try to have 10, and exchange them with healthy foods. Small challenges like these improve your health and self-esteem.

4- Sleep enough

Adults need 6 to 7 hours of sleeping every night. If you sleep less than 6 hours, you would feel boredom and sleepy during day. Don’t allow TV, cellphone and other digital devices reduce your sleep time. Beside the duration of sleep, quality is also important. While you are asleep, your body produces cells that are necessary against¬†disease, infections, and inflammations. So sleeping less than 6 hours makes your body vulnerable against disease.

5- Vitamin D

In the past, people used to get Vitamin D from sun light. In current busy lifestyle few people absorb it from natural sun light. Most of us live in apartments, offices, or covered places. Also when we go out for a walk we use sunscreen creams and it makes our skin to get the least amount of Vitamin D. Based on researches in 2005 and 2006, about 41.6 % of Americans suffer lack of Vitamin D. If you can’t be exposed to natural light. It’s better to use Vitamin D supplements. So you will have stronger bones, powerful muscles, and happier spirit.
